Graduate Student Committee (GSC) of the Department of Earth and Environmental Sciences (DEES) at Columbia University is an independent, student-led organization that provides a forum for concerns related to all aspects of student life within the department, including the academic program, student facilities, and social activities. More Info about the GSC. upcoming events GSC Tea - The first tea of the year will be on Wednesday, September 3rd at 4pm. We will be discussing events for the upcoming semester, so please be there at 4 if you wish to participate! Softball - Join us every Thursday Night at 5:15 on the soccer field for All-LDEO softball. Hot Dogs and Beverages provided. $3/person. All are welcome! Volunteers Needed! - Help organize an intramural sport, lead an Open House tour, or plan a "full moon" party. Contact Alison or Elizabeth.
